Gabriela Palú
Psychotherapist
With over six years of practice, I have been working with both teenagers (15–17) and adults who feel unsatisfied with themselves or their lives, and who are looking to live with more fulfillment and freedom. A great deal of my work centers on how people connect with others — helping them build closer, healthier bonds — and on helping them find their own footing again, so their choices start to reflect who they really are, rather than what circumstance or habit has led them into. In my approach, I never fit a person into a formula.
I'm interested in how you actually experience your own life — your feelings, your sense of meaning, the choices you make and the ones that feel out of reach. Together, we'll look closely at what's been weighing on you, and trace it back to the memories and experiences that shaped who you are today, while opening up new ways of relating to yourself and to life. I offer a listening ear that is warm, understanding, and never judgmental, but I also won't just agree with everything you believe about yourself — part of my work is gently challenging the "absolute truths" that quietly keep people stuck, so there's more room for you to grow into who you want to be.
Living abroad myself, across two different countries, has given me a firsthand understanding of what it means to rebuild a life somewhere new — the disconnection, the adjustment, the things you lose and the things you gain along the way. This is also a clinical focus of mine: I work closely with immigrants and expats navigating exactly this experience. Above all, I hold space for you to speak openly, without judgment, always within strict professional ethics.
Outside of my work, I enjoy making creative projects, traveling, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with friends.
