Therapy for anxiety

Anxiety can make your world smaller without you noticing it happen. You start planning around what might go wrong, seeking reassurance, avoiding certain places, or bracing yourself for the next wave of fear. Even when you know the threat is unlikely, your body may respond as if it is right in front of you.

In therapy, we get curious about the pattern: what sets anxiety off, what you fear might happen, and what you do to feel safe. Those responses often bring relief in the moment but keep anxiety going over time. We can work on tolerating uncertainty and difficult sensations, changing your relationship with anxious thoughts, and gradually returning to things that matter to you.

The work can be practical and paced. You do not have to wait until you feel ready or fearless to begin.
