Hej!
I am a Copenhagen-based Hungarian psychologist, working with children and their parents.
About my approach
I’m interested in how children make sense of their experiences and how the relationships around them shape the way they see themselves and the world.
I see child therapy as a space where children can explore their inner world —their feelings, thoughts, worries, needs, and how they see themselves and others. It’s also a space where they can begin to make sense of what’s going on around them, in their relationships and everyday lives.
The way I work
When working with kids, I pay close attention to how they naturally process their experiences. They might not always have the words for what they’re going through, but they often find ways to express it through play, movement, and imagination.
I aim to create a safe, attuned, and supportive therapeutic space, where kids can explore things that feel difficult, confusing, or a bit upside down, and gradually work through them in their own way. Along the way, they may begin to find new ways of relating to themselves and others, and discover their own strengths and ‘superpowers’ along the way.
I also really value working closely with parents, and I see their inner experiences as an important part of the therapeutic process. Together, we make room to think things through, try to see things from the child’s perspective, and reflect on what might be happening in their emotional world and relationships. By taking the time to understand the child’s experience, we may figure out how best to support them.
Bits and bobs about me
Beyond the therapy room, I enjoy both active days and quieter moments, from biking and being in nature to spending time with loved ones or slowing down with a good book and something delicious (most likely with plenty of peanut butter).
