Motherhood & Fertility
Find space for the uncertainty, grief, identity changes, and mixed feelings that can come with fertility experiences and motherhood.

Therapy for motherhood and fertility experiences
Trying to conceive, going through fertility treatment, experiencing pregnancy loss, or becoming a mother can bring feelings that are difficult to say out loud. You may feel hopeful, frightened, resentful, grateful, exhausted, or several of these in the same afternoon.
Therapy offers a private space to talk about the experience as it is for you. We can explore uncertainty, grief, changes in your body, your relationship, and the expectations you carry about being a parent. There is also room for ambivalence, decisions about having children, and the question of whether to keep trying.
If you are already parenting, sessions might focus on identity, guilt, anger, loneliness, unequal responsibilities, or the strain of having very little time that belongs to you. We can look at what support is available and what needs to change around you.
Your therapist can support the emotional side of fertility and parenthood alongside the medical care you receive.
