A dedicated time for reflection, support, growth.
Individual therapy is a space to slow things down, make sense of what’s happening internally, and stop carrying everything alone.
People come to therapy for a variety of reasons. Some people are feeling overwhelmed with the stress of life, and others have something specific bothering them.
Individual therapy can help if you:
feel anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly on edge
are stuck in patterns you can’t seem to shift
struggle with intrusive thoughts or compulsive behaviors
feel disconnected from yourself or others
are navigating a major life transition
feel emotionally exhausted or burned out
are adjusting to life abroad and feel “off”
want support that’s practical and grounded
Many of our clients are high-functioning on the outside and struggling quietly on the inside.
In individual therapy, we often focus on:
anxiety and chronic worry
OCD and intrusive thoughts
avoidance and fear-based patterns
emotional regulation
identity shifts and expat stress
relationship challenges
trauma or unresolved experiences
Depending on your needs, I use CBT, ERP, and EMDR.
If anxiety or avoidance is central for you, you may want to read more about anxiety therapy or exposure therapy.
If intrusive thoughts or compulsions are part of the picture, OCD / ERP therapy may be a better fit.
Therapy is:
collaborative
structured but flexible
focused on real-life change
grounded in evidence-based methods
We talk, but we also do things differently between sessions. Therapy should translate into daily life, not stay in the room.
