Emotion Focused Therapy
Understand the feelings beneath recurring conflict and work toward greater emotional connection and security as a couple.

Emotion Focused Therapy for couples
In a painful argument, the thing you say out loud is often only part of what is happening. Under anger or withdrawal there may be fear, hurt, shame, or a wish to know that you still matter to each other.
Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) helps couples understand the cycle they get caught in and the feelings underneath it. Your therapist slows difficult moments down so each person can hear more than the usual accusation or silence. Over time, the work can help you reach for each other more directly and respond with greater understanding.
This is an approach for couples who feel stuck in conflict, distance, or repeated attempts to reconnect that do not land. It asks both partners to take part, and it takes time to build enough safety for more vulnerable conversations.
