Adult ADHD Test: ASRS v1.1

You may find yourself leaving projects almost finished, losing track of appointments, or putting off tasks even when they matter to you. Perhaps these patterns have been familiar for years, and you are wondering whether ADHD could be part of the picture.

This free, six-question self-check asks about your experiences over the past six months. It is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Your results appear immediately, without providing your name or email address.

Understanding your ADHD screening result

The Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale, ASRS v1.1, is a screening questionnaire that helps identify when further assessment for adult ADHD may be useful.

The result counts how many of your answers fall within specific shaded boxes. Four or more suggest that your symptoms may be consistent with adult ADHD and are worth discussing with a qualified healthcare professional. This count does not measure ADHD severity.

The questionnaire cannot confirm or rule out ADHD. A full assessment explores your history, how difficulties affect different areas of your life, and other possible explanations.

If you would like to explore a formal ADHD assessment, speak with your GP about the next step. You can also seek therapeutic support for the difficulties you are experiencing while you work towards greater clarity.
